Good points raised here, (or rather, those bits I could easily read). I am color blind (tritanopia to be exact). I mostly use Konqueror browser (no idea if that changes anything), and quite a lot of this web page is hard for me to read. I don't wish to whinge, and I know it is my problem really, but it would be kind if you could take into account the color blind whilst carrying out the next web page redesign.

New here,

I'm seeking help for the kids of Haiti.

I'm doing this for a non-profit haiti organization that gives time to
building an oppurunity for the children in haiti. If anyone here wants to donate then this is the place:

<a href="http://universallearningcentre.org" rel="nofollow">Donate to Haiti</a> or <a href="http://universallearningcentre.org" rel="nofollow">Help Haiti</a>

They give kids in Haiti books and teach them.

Yes, they're real.

It would be awesome if you could help us

Animal mistreatment has forever rattled me. It looks like it is getting worse, at least where I live. But there are nonetheless great souls out there who feel like I do that we must take care of them. I hope the judicial system will match up with our means of believing about this. It is still treated as a relatively minor criminal offence. That's wrong.

It wasn't really a bump just a hiccup! I find that training is never a straightline event there are always small misshaps and deviations. That took place a few days after we got him from the dog shelter in January, he actually sleeps in the same room as the hamster now with no issues at all : )

Thanks for participating in the Puppy In Training Blog Carnival. Sorry to hear about the bump in your training. I'm glad to hear things are going better with the hamster and your dog. We worked on introductions with my dog Linus and my sisters cat Lulu. He met and socialized as a puppy and now they are best of friends.

yeah you're right. I had the same feelings at first with crate training. I was shocked to saw a crate in the home of one of my friends when I visited him 5 or 6 years ago. He had just got himself a dog (some sort of Bull Terrier) and I payed him a visit to see the new puppy.

I saw the crate. And I told him I didn't feel right about that.

But I was wrong. When done right you can easily use a crate very well. My friend's dog is now 5 or 6 years old and he really loves that crate. It is his own little home! It's never shut anymore. It the dog's own private space where he can rest. He loves it now.

Nights are defiantly the worst time for a new puppy. We had a puppy once that we would have sleep in a kennel at night. The first couple of weeks were hell, but eventually it became such a routine that he would go to bed in his kennel on his own and we could even leave the door open without any worries!
