We have a rescue dog and the use of a dog training manual has helped to settle him into his new life. Using a specific manual provides a consistency of approach which is key to achieving successful results. Dog training manuals come in a whole host of varieties you need to find one that works for you. I am all for positive reinforcement and so my choices are all in this field.

Any way this is Fig who is the inspiration for this journey to the ultimately trained family pet!

Getting a new dog and settling it into family life can be a little challenging so it is important to get the right support from the start to resolve any complications.
